• She once attempted to learn Conversational Klingon, without much success.
• When she interviewed Ralph Fiennes, he joked that he'd return to the "Harry Potter" franchise for an X-rated spin-off called "Voldemort's Bride."

Experience

As an entertainment journalist, Amy has written for ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, People, The Independent, Heat, HelloGiggles, Shondaland, The Guardian, and Bustle. Amy regularly writes about her experience as a disabled person living with multiple sclerosis, ADHD, PCOS, and anxiety, with bylines at Forbes Health, Healthline, Byrdie, and SingleCare. She co-edited The Emma Press Anthology of Illness and had an essay published in Routledge's HBO's Original Voices: Race, Gender, Sexuality and Power.

Education

Amy holds a degree in English literature and an M.A. in the teaching and practice of creative writing, both from Cardiff University. She also holds a teaching qualification from Sunderland University and undertook Columbia University's short course in narrative medicine in 2019.
