Lexi is a freelance writer with a focus on pop culture and general assignment reporting. Over three years, she served as editor-in-chief, entertainment news editor, arts and culture writer, and social media coordinator for The Chronicle, NCC's student-led news organization. She was awarded NCC's Outstanding Major in Journalism award, in addition to receiving awards from the Associated Collegiate Press for Best Print Newspaper and Best News Website in 2019. Most recently, she has covered breaking news for the reality television beat of Screen Rant. Her love of film and television culminated in her undergrad capstone project, which examined fandom culture through C2E2 cosplayers, TV show stans, and YouTube fanatics.
Education
Lexi has a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Film from North Central College, a liberal arts school just outside of Chicago.
