Experience
Ever since winning a GameCube with Spider-Man 2 in a second-grade raffle, Joseph Stanichar has loved gaming, superheroes, and all things pop culture. A freelance writer based in Ohio, he's written for publications all around the country, including Game Informer, Paste Magazine and Twinfinite. Joseph has experience in all kinds of reporting, including writing reviews, news, features, interviews, essays, and pretty much anything else you can find on a news site. He loves finding new and interesting shows and films — from those that challenge the status quo to those that just provide everyone with a good time — and uses this passion in his work at Looper.
Education
Joseph graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2022, along with certificates in social media and podcasting.
