Scott Chernoff is a writer for television, magazines, books, and the interwebs. Before Looper, Scott served as Managing Editor and Lead Writer for Lucasfilm's official magazine, Star Wars Insider, and he also contributed to Star Wars Kids magazine, Star Wars Galaxy magazine, and starwars.com, as well as official publications for "Star Trek," "Jurassic Park," and "Lord of the Rings." Scott is the author of the book "The Stars of Star Wars" (LucasBooks/Random House) and is currently writing a memoir called "My Star Wars Years" (publishers, feel free to hop on board anytime). Most recently, Scott wrote about movies and TV for ScreenRant.com. And oh yeah, Scott has also written for TV's "BoJack Horseman," "Conan," "School of Rock," and "MTV's Big Urban Myth Show," and he's written/created web series for Disney, Mashable, Uproxx, Adult Swim, SuperDeluxe, JibJab, Atom, and Channel 101. Plus, he's the voice of Gearhead on "Rick and Morty."

Education

Scott is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, where he majored in Literature with an emphasis on Creative Writing, and he minored in Exploring the Forest and Wandering Around Used Record Stores. Go fighting Banana Slugs!
