  • Devon got up close and personal with some of the fan-favorite TV actors while attending pop-up events like "Law & Order: SVU"'s 25th anniversary pop-up in NYC.
  • She followed her passion for television and film to Los Angeles, where she explored screenwriting and script reading and attended screenings featuring her favorite directors, including Guillermo del Toro and Bong Joon Ho. 
  • Devon interviewed EJAE, the breakout singer-songwriter of "KPop Demon Hunters," in the wake of the film's extreme success, chatting with her about the trending franchise and her personal work.

Experience

Devon has been working as a writer and editor for over seven years, focusing on everything from movies and television to lifestyle and trending news. She began as a writer for Young Hollywood and Screen Rant before joining the Looper team as an entertainment writer, then editor. At the same time, she created deep dives and lists about movies and television for Collider before switching gears to celebrity and lifestyle news at Parade magazine. There, she was a founding member of the publication's trending news team, helping shape a super successful breaking news center.

Education

Devon has a bachelor's degree in film studies from the University of Pittsburgh, with a minor in history. After graduating, she went on to earn a certificate in TV/film development from UCLA Extension in Los Angeles.
