Experience

Xandra has been writing professionally since she graduated from Randolph College in 2016 — and she hasn't stopped since. While her favorite subjects to cover are interviews and the intersection between pop culture and social issues, she got her start in the New York City publication, Untapped Cities. Of course, that didn't stop her from covering comic book subjects within the scope of the city. She later worked on print magazines and online publications at Adventure Publishing Group's The Toy Insider, The Pop Insider, and The Licensing Book. Most recently, Xandra ran a Snapchat Discover channel that took deep dives into ghost stories, the horror genre, comic book content, and pop culture's most devilish villains — often creating unique memes and Gen Z/Millennial-centric content for the channel. In addition to her full-time work, Xandra has freelanced for Screen Rant and covered TV recaps along with live theater/concert reviews for Broadway World, and her reviews have made it into Off-Broadway promotions.

Education

Xandra has a Bachelor's degree in English with an Emphasis in Creative Writing from Randolph College: a small, quirky liberal arts college in Virginia. Much to the chagrin of her professors (whom she later won over), Xandra wrote a collection of historical and satirical vampire poetry for her senior project — and she has no regrets.
