Jennifer has been a freelance writer for the past 15 years. She's written about subjects ranging from which film by Takashi Miike is the most disturbing, to what makes "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" an all-time classic. Jennifer's first job out of college was writing for the Chicago-based film magazine Stumped, where she sharpened her interviewing and writing skills. Jennifer's love of comics and graphic novels has helped her navigate and explain to friends the inner workings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and why "WandaVision" is so brilliant.

Jennifer started her education at Columbia College Chicago in the fiction writing department. She switched to journalism after one of her professors, Chicago Tribune writer Dodie Hofstetter, told her that she was a very strong opinion writer. Jennifer graduated with a B.A. in journalism.
