Emily has dreamed of being an author since she was a 5-year-old making crude drawings and stapling the pages together. From 2010 to 2011, Emily wrote a column titled "The Nerd Corner" under the name J.L. Rivers for the Lima, Ohio newsletter, The Entertainer. In 2020, she began writing news and features for top websites such as SVG, Looper, and Game Rant. For four years, she has covered everything from popular celebrity news to the latest trending films and TV shows.

Education

Emily graduated from the Academy of Art University with an Associate of Arts degree in Motion Picture and Television. Her education has given her first-hand knowledge of how movies and TV shows are made, as well as the impact they have on our everyday lives.
