As a film and TV news writer, Mita Kataria loves doing interviews and creating analyses. She has written about entertainment for Showbiz Cheat Sheet, and she previously covered local arts and culture news in Boston as a freelance journalist for publications like DigBoston and The ARTery.


Mita received a bachelor's degree in performing arts, English literature and psychology. Her bachelor program helped her both look at the arts as a performer and critically as a literature and psychology student. Mita then took classes in film criticism and feature writing to complete a M.S. in Journalism at Boston University. She also wrote about films and interviewed filmmakers Kitty Green and Judd Apatow as a features writer for her school newspaper, The Daily Free Press.
