Michelle Mehrtens has worked as a freelance writer and editor for many years. She is the founder of Meesh Says Things, a pop culture website dedicated to film and television. She is a former media intern at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and a graduate of Stanford University's MFA program in documentary film. She joined Static Media in 2021 and has happily deep-dived into the many facets of pop culture, from the nineties nostalgia of Hey Arnold! to the comic ingenuity of contemporary shows like The Good Place.
