The DC FanDome Schedule Is Packed With Incredible Panels

DC die-hards, it's time to start getting excited.

The full schedule of panels has been released for next weekend's DC FanDome virtual convention, and it's absolutely jam-packed full of content. The panels promise to give fans exclusive looks at upcoming DC movies, more info on that recently revealed Suicide Squad video game, deep dives into the histories of iconic characters, and much more.

First, a brief overview. The convention will contain six main virtual areas: the Hall of Heroes, which is home to most of the major movie and video game panels; the WatchVerse, an immersive environment where the bulk of the DC Television panels can be found; the KidsVerse, which contains plenty of interactive presentations and activities for the little ones; the YouVerse, where fan-created art, content, and cosplay take center stage; the FunVerse, which is pretty much like the KidVerse, but for adults; and the InsiderVerse, where DC's creative minds offer insight into their processes.

When you head over to the DC FanDome website and create an account, you can explore all of the panels, presentations, and activities within each area, and also create a custom schedule of panels. About those panels: the event kicks off at 1:00 PM Eastern time on August 22, and runs for 24 hours. The pre-recorded panels must be viewed at their scheduled times, but don't worry; if you miss one, all major panels will get an encore screening at a later time. All of the interactive activities and presentations will be available for the duration of the event.

Got it? Great! Let's take a closer look at the most scintillating of the panels to be featured in the Hall of Heroes and WatchVerse areas, followed by some excellent highlights from the other areas. All times are subject to change, so we suggest checking back in on your panels of choice before the event starts.

The Hall of Heroes is your venue for DC movies

If you're as excited as we are for the upcoming films of the DC Extended Universe, then you're going to want to take a close look at the panels going down in the Hall of Heroes. All of the major impending releases will get their times in the spotlight, and you can even check out panels for Aquaman and Shazam! (which we'll bet will contain at least a tidbit or two pertaining to the in-the-works sequels to those awesome flicks). There's also one panel that has intriguingly yet to be announced, and one focusing on that surprise Suicide Squad console game — which we now know has an official title.
