Experience

Julie has written for Punknews.org, Comic Book Resources, Out Front Magazine, and New Noise Magazine. She has had poetry published in a number of publications and has been the city slam champion of three different cities. She interned at NFL Films, where she got to work on the shoot at the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York. She has worked on a number of independent films such as "Sleather," "Smark," and "Herbeast Comes to Life."

Education

Julie has bachelor's in English and Film from Emerson College; a master's in Film Studies from Emerson College; and she was accepted into a PhD program at University of Colorado at Boulder but left before completing it to pursue other interests.
