She's especially intrigued by movies based on Jane Austen novels. Michelle is the owner of the blog "Spring from My Shell," where helps people better understand mental health by relating it to popular movies and TV shows. She also loves showing off her encyclopedic knowledge of film as the co-host for the radio show "Cinema Talk," and as the entertainment reporter for her town's radio station.


Michelle is a former Huskie with bachelor's and master's degrees in English from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. She is grateful for her education because it has helped her become an efficient and adept researcher.
