  • Elle has a formal education in theatre and film, not to mention a lifetime of experience reading comics, watching cartoons, and generally being a big nerd.
  • Elle was a writer and editor for the late, lamented Comics Alliance, and has also covered pro wrestling for Uproxx Sports.
  • Elle brings an academic and LGBTQ perspective to nerd culture and pop culture in general, always looking for new ways to look at things.

Elle Collins was born and raised in Appalachia, and has always enjoyed the skewed viewpoint of an intellectual misfit. After attaining a Theatre and Dance degree with an emphasis in Puppetry, Elle went to film school on the "theory and criticism" side, with a particular focus on animation and queer issues in film. Elle has spent years writing about film and comic books, and is one of the internet's foremost experts on Wonder Woman. In recent years, their writing has expanded to encompass pro wrestling and television as well. Elle lives in East Tennessee, where the barbecue's pretty good and the mayor's a pro wrestler.

Elle has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre and Dance from West Virginia University, and a Masters of Arts in Film from Ohio University.
