MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019: Complete List Of Winners

One of Hollywood's coolest awards ceremonies came back to television on Monday, June 17 — and the evening was, as expected, filled with impeccably-dressed stars, moving speeches, and big wins. Many golden popcorn statues were handed out at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, but if you missed out on the event as it aired, we've got you covered with the full list of winners.

Marvel Studios took in multiple wins during the ceremony thanks to Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. The former won the prize for Best Fight, awarded to the battle between Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and Gemma Chan's Minn-Erva, and the latter snagged one of the biggest awards of the night — Best Movie.

Longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe star Robert Downey Jr. brought Marvel's 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards statue count up to three when he was honored as Best Hero for his emotional performance as Iron Man in Endgame. Thanos actor Josh Brolin bumped it to four after he accepted the award for Best Villain.

Despite flaming out with a less-than-fantastic final seasonGame of Thrones earned the award for Best Show, but sadly, the showdown between Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and the Night King (Vladimír Furdík) didn't win Best Fight. Though Daenerys Targaryen actress Emilia Clarke was nominated for Best Performance in a Show, she couldn't turn the nod into a win. The Handmaid's Tale actress Elisabeth Moss, who is set to appear in the terrifying new Invisible Man movie, landed the Best Performance in a Show award.

Throughout the night, MTV honored Sandra Bullock with the Most Frightened Performance award for her role in Netflix's Bird Box, handed future He-Man actor Noah Centineo a statue for Breakthrough Performance, and gave Lady Gaga the award for Best Performance in a Movie for her turn as Ally in A Star Is Born

Plenty more happened at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards — like host Zachary Levi parodying both Game of Thrones and Jordan Peele's Us in two hilarious skits, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson offering rousing words of wisdom while he accepted the Generation Award, and Lizzo and Bazzi giving high-energy musical performances.

For those without much time to watch the full ceremony, MTV has the hook-up with a 60-second rundown of the night's most noteworthy moments. Take a look at it — and the full list of 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards winners — below.
