Experience

Melissa takes her pop culture consumption seriously, having been a regular Entertainment Weekly reader as a kid and a showbiz podcast junkie as an adult. Melissa is particularly interested in the craft behind the movies we all hold dear. She co-runs a live storytelling event called Hooks & Reels in Dublin, Ireland, where she writes and performs her own work. In her current pursuit of a master's degree in creative writing from Dublin City University, she has even tried her hand at a couple of screenplays of her own. So if anyone has seen Greta Gerwig lately, let her know Melissa says, "Hey."

Education

Melissa has a bachelors degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Arizona, and is working on her master's degree in creative writing from Dublin City University.
