  • Another of his favorites was his talk with Sid and Marty Krofft jointly about H.R. Pufnstuf, Land of the Lost, and other series.
  • Last but not least, one of Will's favorite interviews was with John Lydon about his career, including the Sex Pistols and Public Image Ltd.

Experience

He started out doing record reviews, but over time he realized that he was running out of adjectives, so he started focusing on doing interviews. This gave him the opportunity to indulge in his love of deep research, and the result has been a career that's allowed him to interview everyone from Morgan Freeman to Elvis Costello to Curly Neal of the Harlem Globetrotters. It also allowed him to help wrote the book Surely You Can't Be Serious: The True Story of Airplane! in collaboration with David Zucker, the late Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker.

Education

He graduated from Averett College, now Averett University, with a degree in English / Journalism / Communications, and he tries to utilize the knowledge and the journalistic integrity he learned at the time in the pieces he writes and the interviews he conducts.
