Watch The Trailer For The Flash And Supergirl Musical Crossover

The new trailer for The Flash and Supergirl's musical crossover makes one thing pretty clear: this is going to be Darren Criss' show. The footage gives a glimpse at Criss as the gleeful Music Meister, showing that the actor is most definitely reveling in the chance to play a villain.

The musical crossover will show Music Meister throwing Kara and Barry into an alternate reality where life is a musical, and the only way they can escape is by singing and dancing their way through the script. "Reach the end of the plot, you get to go home," Music Meister teases. "Although I should mention if you die in here, you die out there." Since Kara and Barry are powerless in this alternate reality, that may be a little easier said that done.

The alternate reality is set in the golden age of movie musicals, where Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Dr. Stein (Victor Garber), and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) all play rival mob bosses. "Gather the boys, we're going to war," Joe says in the trailer. The episode, set to premiere on March 21, will also feature performances from Jeremy Jordan and Carlos Valdes, with songs including original numbers from Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Benj Pasek (La La Land), and Justin Paul, as well as some covers.

While we wait for The Flash and Supergirl to tap dance their way onto our screens, see some of the characters who Marvel stole from DC and gave a new name.
