Experience

After writing for Image Comics' preview magazine Image+ from 2016 to 2018, Sam transitioned to write for Comic Book Resources (CBR) in April 2018. Expanding his expertise to professionally covering film, television, and video games, Sam drew from a lifetime of his own interests and fandom to write news, columns, reviews, and interviews. Sam has since written for Looper, SVG, and Popverse, covering the biggest news and burning questions from the biggest projects in the entertainment industry. While still writing for CBR and Popverse, Sam has been writing for /Film since January 2023 and enjoys balancing coverage between newer film and television projects with the older and more obscure movies and shows he has long admired.

He has also earned a graduate degree in Global Affairs, with a concentration in Information Technology & Media, used to observe trends in global media consumption and usage.
