The Clones Fight Back In Orphan Black Season 5 Trailer

Buckle up: the first official trailer for Orphan Black's final trip is here.

The twisty, intense new trailer begins with a flashback to the opening moments of the series, when Sarah (Tatiana Maslany, who plays multiple clones) sees Beth kill herself on the train tracks, before moving right into a fast-paced, action heavy trailer narrated by the series' four central clones.

"From the very start, they hunted us," Sarah begins in the trailer's voiceover. "Controlled us," adds Alison. "Used us," adds Helena. "Betrayed us," adds Cosima. "But they could not break us," Sarah says. Together, trading off words, the clones all say, "Now we fight. To control our bodies. To love whom we chose. Now we fight. For my babies, for my sisters, for the family we've chosen. For our freedom."

Sarah concludes: "Together, we fight with everything we've got and everything to lose for a new future until the end. Together we are one."

Unlike the short teaser we got last month, the epic trailer includes quite a lot of footage from the new season, although most of it flashes by so fast that it's still not possible to piece together what the twisty show has up its sleeve for its fifth and final outing. Included in the quick looks are someone fighting around a fire in the woods, Helena at a check-up for her pregnancy, Cosima and Delphine reuniting, someone burning a picture of Kira, Alison and Donnie fighting, Rachel and Sarah fighting, and Art pointing a gun on someone, so there will certainly be no shortage of things going on when Orphan Black returns.
