Joe Keery's Favorite Line Of All Time From Stranger Things Wasn't From The Main Cast

"Stranger Things" Season 4 has wrapped up its run with Volume 2's last two episodes of the Hawkins gang's latest adventure, and the Duffer brothers have forever changed the landscape of the hit Netflix series. Big bad Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) not only reveals that he's been orchestrating the events of the show the entire time but also succeeds in breaking through the barrier between the real world and the Upside Down. So it's safe to say that the stakes are the highest they've ever been ahead of Season 5, whenever it arrives, that is.

Speaking of Season 5, the Duffer brothers are preparing to get started on the final batch of episodes — and they recently told Collider that it's going to be all killer, no filler. "That's not like there's going to be time to explore our characters' love life and how is Steve's dating going? There's going to be none of that, it's just going to be going 100 miles an hour from the beginning," Matt Duffer said, adding, "We have the opening scene for five mapped out. I don't know if it'll stay like that, but it's pretty wild. It's going to be intense from beginning to end with not so much ramp-up."

Poor Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) hasn't had much luck with his dating life since Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) broke up with him in Season 2 — although they get much closer in Season 4 while Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) is in California. Could a reunion be in the cards? Only time will tell. But Steve isn't the only one reminiscing about the past. Joe Keery has revealed his favorite line from the show — and it doesn't come from the main cast.

Joe Keery loves a line from a Russian villain

Fans will remember that Season 3 revolves around the Mind Flayer slowly working its way into the real world using Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery). There's also a pesky battalion of Russian soldiers experimenting on the gate into the Upside Down underneath the Starcourt Mall, which means that the Hawkins gang has a varied set of threats to face — especially Steve and Robin (Maya Hawke) since they work in the mall at the Scoops Ahoy ice cream parlor. Ultimately, their meddling gets them some face time with Russian Commander Ozerov (Misha Kuznetsov).

In a clip uploaded to the official "Stranger Things" YouTube channel, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, and Maya Hawke discuss their favorite lines from Season 3. Keery revealed that Ozerov delivers his favorite line of the entire series when he taunts Robin: "I think your friend need a doctor. Good thing, we have the very best." The actor explained that it feels like something straight out of a classic 1980s movie, saying, "That's my favorite line because it's so 'Indiana Jones' villain. And then you [Maya Hawke] spit right in his face!"

It's not the first time the action hero played by Harrison Ford has come up as a connection to the series — the Duffer Brothers previously told Hello Giggles that Hopper had a few "Indiana Jones" moments back in Season 2, saying, "It's all the Hopper in the tunnel stuff, I mean with the torch and he's got his hat. The vines, the snakes. That's very Indiana Jones." The Duffers really do love the 1980s, don't they?
