Star Wars: The Last Jedi Photo Reveals New X-Wing

Resistance fighter Poe Dameron will have some new tools in his arsenal when he suits up for some stick time behind the wheel of a new X-Wing in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, according to a feature in Empire.

The new spaceship, code named "Black One" in the vein of previous Rebel fighter pilot callsigns such as Gold One and Red One, is equipped with an extra thruster in the back, a custom modification by the Resistance giving the ship a boost of speed to assist in evading enemy cannon fire, or making a quick escape.

Other new vehicles from the movie, from new AT-walkers and supersized Star Destroyers called Dreadnoughts to Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer, have been rolled out in recent weeks, and the day is getting closer that audiences will finally get a chance to see the new tech in action.
