Kylo Ren's Deadly New Ship From The Last Jedi Revealed
You can't believe everything you hear about The Last Jedi, but when it comes from The Star Wars Show, you can rest assured that it's legit.
While details about the upcoming sequel to The Force Awakens are still tightly under wraps, Lucasfilm's official YouTube show unveiled a brand new ship, and it belongs to none other than the villainous Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). Watch the video above or check out some stills below.
Called the "TIE Silencer," the formal name for the ship is the "Sienar Jaemus TIE/VN Space Superiority Fighter." The dimensions of the ship are 12 feet by 25 feet by 57 feet, and it includes the obligatory laser cannons and missile launcher. That's pretty cozy, so there probably isn't a lot of room for temper tantrums.
We did, however, get an official synopsis for the movie at this past weekend's D23 convention. "In Lucasfilm's Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past."
We'll find out what that all means when The Last Jedi lands in theaters on Dec. 15. In the meantime, find out why it'll be better than you think.
