Here's Where You Can Watch Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts Online

Just like it's a great time to be a "Spider-Man" fan at the moment, it's also a wonderful time to be a fan of the "Harry Potter" franchise. Those who have adored the iconic book and film series have no doubt been losing their minds ever since the official "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" trailer was released on December 20. The sneak peek clip announced nearly all of the main cast of the eight "Harry Potter" films, including the lead trip of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint. Watson even took to Instagram before the official trailer was released to confirm her return and write a heartfelt message about her time playing Hermione.

The "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary" special was first announced all the way back in early November, so fans had to wait nearly a month to see when Harry Potter would truly return. The anticipation is building as we approach the release date of the special on New Year's Day 2022. Here's where you can watch "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" online.

The Harry Potter reunion special will stream on HBO Max

"Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" will stream solely on HBO Max on January 1, 2022, to those who have a subscription to the service. If not, plans start at $9.99 per month and, if you were to subscribe, you would be able to rewatch the entire "Harry Potter" film series before the special.

The "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary" special will feature in-depth cast interviews and new behind-the-scenes footage from all eight films, according to The Washington Post. The trailer for the HBO Max event (via YouTube) shows fans a lot more, including Emma Watson and Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton reuniting in The Great Hall, Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Bellatrix Lestrange, discussing some of her favorite memories playing her character, and Ralph Fiennes discussing his decision to take the role of Lord Voldemort. Other cast members that are confirmed to return include Jason Issacs, Gary Oldman, Bonnie Wright, Robbie Coltrane, Evanna Lynch, and more. Only time will tell what other surprises may be in store.

There's still "Harry Potter" content to consume right now as well, with "Hogwarts Tournament of Houses" airing on TNT on Sundays leading up to Christmas Day with host Dame Helen Mirren. This game show series is also available on HBO Max.
