Here's Where You Can Watch Every Season Of Gossip Girl

"Gossip Girl," which aired from 2007 to 2012, is one of the most popular teen dramas of recent years. Created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, based on the novel of the same name by Cecily von Ziegesar, the series follows the lives of a group of wealthy teens who live in Manhattan's Upper East Side. The teens — namely Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) — must deal with the ever-watching eye of Gossip Girl, an anonymous online presence that posts about the drama in the teens' lives on a regular basis.

The series wrapped in 2012 with a much-talked-about ending; the reveal of the Gossip Girl's true identity is arguably the most controversial endings of teen television. Despite an ending that many fans (and cast members) find nonsensical, the series has remained popular over the years thanks to streaming services that allow the show to live on. In fact, its lingering popularity has even led to a spinoff sequel series, also titled "Gossip Girl," which premiered in July of this year on HBO Max and will pick back up in November.

With the new series soon returning, it may prompt fans to revisit the original show — so, where can fans watch all six seasons?

Gossip Girl is streaming on HBO Max

All six seasons of the original "Gossip Girl" are currently streaming on HBO Max, right alongside its sequel series (which itself is an HBO Max original). If you don't already have HBO Max, here's what you need to know about signing up for the streaming service. On the lower end of the cost spectrum, the version with ads costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 yearly. This version, however, does not include access to the Warner Bros. movies that premiere on HBO Max the same day they hit theaters. For the ad-free version — and access to Warner Bros. films — the cost is $14.99 per month or $149.99 per year. This version also allows the user to download any titles to watch at any time, even when they're not connected to the internet.

So, is "Gossip Girl" worth watching (or re-visiting)? The general consensus would be a yes — the series has an 84% Tomatometer score and a 78% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Josh Duboff of Vanity Fair explains the show's appeal, "At its core, though, while the fashion and music and Lively-ness of it all no doubt drew a large swath of viewers, the central, relatable dilemmas faced by the main characters — Blair and Serena, as well as Brooklyn 'lonely boy' and eventual Serena boyfriend Dan Humphrey, ostentatious bad boy and Blair soul-mate Chuck Bass, and pinup prepster Nate Archibald — were what kept people tuning in."

With the show streaming on HBO Max, the teen drama remains readily available to consume by viewers, both old and new.
