Wonder Woman Saves Steve Trevor In New Clip

It turns out that Wonder Woman saves Steve Trevor from quite a few bullets in her upcoming standalone movie. A new clip from the film shows Diana saving Steve from what probably would have been certain death at the hands of a few trench coat-wearing bad guys.

The clip gives further context to a moment used in the film's trailer, showing Diana reaching out and saving Steve from a bullet using her bracelets. In the full clip, Steve is first approached by what he calls "the bad guy convention," with one man pointing a gun at him and requesting a notebook. While Steve fights back right away, he quickly finds himself in trouble, with multiple men pointing guns at him.

Steve's first instinct is to protect Diana, telling her to "step back," but she clearly doesn't need his protection, immediately deflecting a bullet before taking out the rest of the men in the alley. (Steve does get another moment of glory, knocking out the final bad guy after his gun runs out of bullets.) "Is there anything else you want to show me?" he asks her at the end of the clip.

Wonder Woman has quite a lot to show off in her upcoming standalone film, which is due out on June 2. Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Lucy Davis, and Danny Huston star in the film, which is directed by Patty Jenkins based on a script from Allan Heinberg, Geoff Johns, and Zack Snyder. While we wait for Wonder Woman to save us all, see what even diehard DC fans don't now about her past.
