American Horror Story Season 6 Trailer Answers Big Question
After months of rumors and vague teasers, the season premiere of American Horror Story revealed the theme for Season 6. But that doesn't mean we still don't have questions.
Titled "My Roanoke Nightmare," the new season is set up like a true-crime documentary TV show with interviews by the "real" people who lived through a haunting (played by Andre Holland, Lily Rabe, and Adina Porter), while the story unfolds in a dramatic reenactment with Cuba Gooding Jr., Sarah Paulson, and Angela Bassett.
Although we only get a glimpse of the ghostly settlers (including Kathy Bates and Wes Bentley) who seem to be wreaking havoc, the meta theme of Season 6 opened the door for a whole new set of possibilities. Considering the anthology nature of the series and the secretive approach to this season, it wasn't immediately clear if each episode in Season 6 would cover a new "true" ghost story or if we'd stay with this one.
But the first official trailer for the rest of the season reveals the storyline will remain with these characters (at least for a while). Watch it above, and take a look back at some of the show's best on-screen transformations.
