Brandon Sheets' Most Bizarre Storage Wars Find Ever

The mystery behind what's inside those giant, metal storage units is what Storage Wars and its committed cast thrive on. The thrill of the hunt, the potential for a major payout, and the prospect of outdoing their competitors all lead them to their next buy. While their hope is always to find something worth a fortune, it isn't uncommon for the Storage Wars cast to make discoveries that leave even the most prolific of their motley crew totally dumbfounded.

One of these brave treasure hunters is Brandon Sheets, a second-generation buyer who's constantly looking to prove himself to his more experienced peers as a major player in the auction world. His father, Darrell "The Gambler" Sheets, is a seasoned veteran of the game and has passed on his tricks of the trade to his son over the years. The two frequently work together, sifting through various antiquities (and a fair amount of garbage as well) and often making a nice chunk of change in the process.

With his father's wealth of knowledge at his disposal, Brandon is now beginning to branch out on his own — keeping the "family business" alive by purchasing his own lockers and attempting to cash in on his finds. However, the road to riches is never easy and can often take bizarre turns. Brandon found this out firsthand on one particularly memorable Storage Wars episode, during which he bit off a little more than he could chew and made his most unexpected find ever.

Brandon Sheets was unexpectedly greeted by albino Burmese pythons

To quote Indiana Jones, "Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?"

During an episode of Storage Wars, upon scoring the winning bid on a storage unit, Brandon prepared to dive into his trove of items. Sadly for him, the dollar signs in his eyes faded very quickly when he encountered ... a nest of albino Burmese pythons. As it turns out, the previous owner of the locker used it in secret as a breeding area and planned to sell the reptiles as exotic pets. Unless he wanted to open a pet store, there wasn't a lot of money for Brandon to make with his slithering, scaly bounty.

Thankfully, no snakes were harmed during the filming of this episode, as this particular variety of snake is capable of surviving without food for some time. Brandon's hopes of turning a profit didn't make it out unscathed, however. As he already knows, thanks to his dad, the storage container game is very much hit or miss. Some days, you hit a home run, and others, you strike out and end up with only a box full of pythons to show for it.
