Catherine has been a freelance editor and proofreader since 2019, as well as a writer and editor for the Harry Potter website MuggleNet.com since 2013. Her expertise is in entertainment journalism, but she works on all kinds of content and text. She has also worked in the trade publishing industry, done transcription and captioning, and contributed to several book and magazine publications. Catherine joined Static Media in 2022 as an editor on the interviews team before moving to the Looper news team.
Education
Catherine has a graduate certificate in publishing from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), with a focus on the editorial side of publishing. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree in geography from the University of Waterloo.
