Stranger Things 2 Cast Portraits Revealed

We'll look anywhere we can for clues about Stranger Things 2, and a new batch of photos may hold a couple. But they also might just be really cool pics.

Entertainment Weekly revealed artistic photos of the cast, and while they don't contain any plot details, they could say something about the tone of the show in season 2.  Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) looks typically tortured, while most of the boys (Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin) seem pretty pensive. Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) seems pretty laid back, but it would be a little weird to see him looking serious.

Meanwhile, the portraits for the adult cast members are far more ominous. Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Hopper (David Harbour) are clearly struggling with some demons, while newcomer Bob (Sean Astin) is partially obscured.

As we get closer to the return of the Netflix hit, information is coming pretty steady. Creators Matt and Ross Duffer revealed that the second season will open in a town that isn't Hawkins, Indiana, and there will be an effort to bring "Justice for Barb." We've also got official stills from the season and the posters have been teasing an influence by classic horror flicks from the '70s and '80s.

Check out the new portraits below and prepare for Stranger Things 2, which will premiere Oct. 27.
