The House With A Clock In Its Walls Locks Down 2018 Release Date
The House with a Clock in Its Walls will be open for viewing in the fall of next year, according to a news item in The Hollywood Reporter.
The new Eli Roth horror movie is now locked in to hit theaters on Sept 21, 2018 from Universal and Amblin Entertainment. It stars Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Owen Vaccaro and Kyle MacLachlan in addition to Colleen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams and Sunny Suljic.
Based on a 1973 gothic horror novel written by John Bellairs and illustrated by Edward Gorey, the movie is being written by Eric Kripke, the creator of the CW's Supernatural. It will follow a young boy named Lewis, played by Vaccaro, who goes to live with his uncle in a dilapidated house with a mysterious tick-tock in its walls.
Far from a quiet time in a new home, Lewis' explorations in the house lead him into a witch-and-warlock-run world of the paranormal when he uncovers his uncle's relationship with supernatural magic, as well as an immensely powerful clock inside the house that is prophesied to bring about the end of the world.
