Arrow Season 6 Trailer Released
Who survived Arrow's explosive season five finale? The newest trailer for season six doesn't quite make that big reveal, but it does tease a dark, epic season ahead for the CW superhero series.
The trailer begins by recapping the events of Prometheus' (Josh Segarra) systematic destruction of Oliver (Stephen Amell) from season five, ending with the explosion on the island that may or may not have killed pretty much the show's entire cast. Of course, while that seems unlikely, the action-packed look at season six is careful to avoid spoiling who made it out, only showing Katie Cassidy's Black Siren (previously confirmed as a series regular for season six), Juliana Harkavy's Dinah Drake, and Manu Bennett's Deathstroke alongside Oliver. "We walk in two worlds," Deathstroke says at the end of the trailer. "We can only do that for so long."
Warner Bros. recently announced that Lost star Michael Emerson would join Arrow's sixth season in a mysterious recurring role as part of a "villainous cabal" that threatens Oliver. That group of villains will also include Richard Dragon, whose casting has yet to be officially announced, and David Nykl, who plays Oliver's former mentor Anatoly Knyavez. Other cast members expected to return for the season, should they survive, include Willa Holland as Thea, David Ramsey as Diggle, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity, and Paul Blackthrone as Detective Lance.
Arrow returns for its sixth season on Oct. 12. In the meantime, see what the show's characters should really look like based on the comics.
