Who Is The Actress In Uber Eats' Super Bowl 2022 Commercial?

Super Bowl commercials used to be a surprise. You wouldn't know precisely what you were getting from the likes of Doritos and Bud Light until the Big Game. Over the last couple of years, an intriguing trend has developed where companies will release small teasers for their ads ahead of time. They're almost like trailers, giving audiences a glimpse into what they can expect in between gameplay. After all, if a business is going to spend millions of dollars on a 30-second ad, they might as well get their money's worth and make sure there are as many eyes as possible on it.

We've already seen this happen with Rakuten and Frito-Lay for the 2022 Super Bowl, and it looks like Uber Eats has gotten in on the fun, as well. Everyone will have to wait for February 13 to see the full ad, but for now, we have a 30-second spot highlighting the service that stars one of the funniest actresses working today.

Jennifer Coolidge stars in the Uber Eats commercial

The actress in the Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial should be immediately recognizable to anyone who's a fan of the "American Pie" series. It's Jennifer Coolidge, a.k.a. Stifler's mom, who rifles through a bag of what's predominantly groceries, but to her surprise, Uber Eats delivers a lot more than food these days. She also finds some lipstick and a makeup brush, both of which taste pretty good to her. It's a funny bit to promote the company's new service, and if there was anyone capable of offering up ample laughs, it's Coolidge.

She's a comedy legend, appearing in such films as "Best in Show," "Legally Blonde," and "A Cinderella Story." Most recently, the actress made waves for her role of Tanya McQuoid on "The White Lotus," ultimately earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress — Series, Miniseries, or Television Film at the Golden Globes.

Coolidge's next project lined up is the romantic comedy "Shotgun Wedding," starring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel. But in case you need a refresher on just how funny the actress can be, you can look forward to the full version of the commercial airing February 13 during the Super Bowl.
