Who Plays Anoush In Netflix's Cobra Kai?

"Cobra Kai" — the sequel to the original "The Karate Kid" films directed by John G. Avildsen and written by Robert Mark Kamen from 1984, 1986 and 1989 — was created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg and premiered as a YouTube Red original in May of 2018, only to move to Netflix a couple of years later.

Set 34 years after the films, "Cobra Kai" follows Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) as he reopens the Cobra Kai karate dojo and falls back into his old rivalry with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). Along with Zabka and Macchio, many stars of the original films reprise their roles. Other main cast members of the show include Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, and Mary Mouser.

The large ensemble cast of the martial arts drama gets even bigger when you delve into the show's recurring characters — such as Anoush. Anoush, a LaRusso Auto Group sales agent, comes into the mix in Season 2 when he leaves Daniel's company for a better offer at Tom Cole's (David Shatraw). The character of Anoush has appeared in eleven episodes of "Cobra Kai" so far, with his most recent appearance being Season 4, Episode 5, "Match Point."

So, who is Dan Ahdoot, the actor who plays Anoush in "Cobra Kai"?

Dan Ahdoot has appeared in a slew of TV shows

Dan Ahdoot, who is known to many "Cobra Kai" fans as Anoush, has been working as an actor since 2006. His first role was in a TV movie titled "AV Club," which was quickly followed by the theatrically released film, "Twisted Fortune" (via IMDb). In 2011, Ahdoot began his run on another dojo-set show, the Disney XD series "Kickin' It," in which he played the recurring character of Falafel Phil.

Ahdoot's first starring role came in 2016 with a series titled "Bajillion Dollar Propertie$" — a parody of "Million Dollar Listing" — on the comedy subscription service Seeso. The series ran for three seasons. Additionally, Ahdoot had guest arcs in shows such as "Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell," "Super Fun Night," "Atypical," and "Shameless." Ahdoot is also a comedian, and he has appeared as himself in shows such as "Laugh Factory" and "Last Comic Standing."

Aside from "Cobra Kai," Ahdoot most recently appeared in a main role on the Netflix comedy "The Crew," which stars Kevin James and takes place at a NASCAR garage. Unfortunately, the series was canceled after just one season. Until Ahdoot continues taking on more roles, we have his eleven episodes of "Cobra Kai" to check out.
