Game Of Thrones Star Hints About Missandei And Grey Worm Romance

Winter is here, and everyone needs someone to warm them up, even Grey Worm.

Game of Thrones co-star Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Dany's handmaiden and advisor Missandei, recently told Entertainment Weekly that we'll probably see more of her character's burgeoning romance with Unsullied commander Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) in season 7.

"These two have always hidden behind their duty," Emmanuel said. "But times like this, where it's not guaranteed they will even see each other again, where he might be killed and she might be... who knows... they're having to confront their emotions and feelings to each other."

Of course, it's not like this comes out of nowhere. There's been a long-simmering affection between the two for a while now, which has been apparent ever since Grey Worm caught Missandei naked in season 4 and they first kissed in season 5. But it's a complicated relationship, not only because of their sworn duties to Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), but also because Grey Worm is a eunuch, which means he's missing some vital parts.

Still, their relationship ranks among the most endearing on the show, and you'd really like to see these kids make it work. There might not be much time, though, as the showrunners said season 7 will be the most action-packed the series has seen to date. But the latest trailer shows a split second of another kiss between Missanei and Grey Worm, so we know they make time somehow.
