Will There Be A Night Teeth 2?

"Night Teeth" offers a different take on the vampire mythos. The monsters don't attack just anyone they see walking down the street. Instead, they mostly want to party while taking vital fluids from consenting participants. Unfortunately, there are still some vampires that don't know the meaning of the word "consent," and they proceed to break the long-standing truce between the undead and humans.
Caught up in the middle of an escalating war is Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.), who just wants to make some cash as a chauffeur while hitting on the beautiful Blair (Debby Ryan). Suffice to say, a simple evening takes some massive detours involving a vampiric Megan Fox and the revelation Benny's brother has been a vampire hunter this entire time.
The movie ends with the evil vampires getting a dose of sunlight and Benny himself transforming into a vampire. That means he can finally get busy with Blair as they drive into a night filled with debauchery. But what lies beyond that single night teased in the film's final scene? What are the chances that "Night Teeth 2" could make its way to the streaming platform?
Jorge Lendeborg Jr. hopes there's a Night Teeth 2
There's no word yet on whether Netflix has any interest in a sequel to "Night Teeth." More than likely, the streaming service wants to see how the movie performs in its first month before committing to a follow-up.
There's certainly plenty of room left from the open-ended finale to do a sequel. "Night Teeth 2" could easily consist of the continuing adventures of Benny and Blair as the former learns to adapt to the vampire lifestyle. The relationship between the vampire world and the rest of society is still shaky, so Benny could easily go head-to-head with his brother Jay (Raúl Castillo) in another story. That scene would be filled with intensity and drama, making a sequel a worthwhile prospect all on its own.
Fans aren't the only ones hoping "Night Teeth 2" comes to fruition. In an interview with Distractify, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. expressed his optimism he could return to the role, stating, "I hope there's a sequel. What's gonna happen in the second one, man, maybe just more closure? You know, I feel like it definitely is a coming-of-age story, as well as a horror thriller. So it's like, what does Benny do now that he has more power, now that he has more foresight on what's happening in the world? You know, what does he do with his turn on top?"
It's an intriguing prospect, but only time will tell if we'll end up seeing more of Benny and Blair.
