Justice League International Trailer Released
An attack is coming in the new Justice League international trailer. While the teaser doesn't provide any footage different from what we've already seen in the U.S. trailer, it does provide a quick recut of what to expect from the upcoming DC team-up film.
The trailer begins with Batman and Wonder Woman getting together to find the other members of their team, made up of Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash. (Plus the supposedly deceased Superman, although he's only popped up in one bit of promotional material thus far.) It then repeats much of the action we saw in the first trailer, including Aquaman and his trident facing off against a Parademon, Cyborg taking flight, and the Flash dodging bullets using his super speed. It also once again features Batman's witty moment, with Barry asking, "What are your super powers again?" "I'm rich," he gruffly replies.
While the international trailer cuts out the glimpses of smaller characters like Amber Heard's Mera and Billy Crudup's Henry Allen, it still includes the quick look at the return of Amy Adams' Lois Lane and the debut of J.K. Simmons' Commissioner Gordon. The international trailer ends with the same cuts as the U.S. trailer, with Aquaman taking off from on top of the Batmobile and making Bruce angry with his rooftop comments.
While the international trailer doesn't reveal anything we haven't seen already, it's nice to see that marketing is beginning to ramp up for the film overseas. (Plus, we'll take just about any excuse to rewatch that epic scene of Aquaman staring down a giant wall of water.) Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill, and Ciaran Hinds star in Justice League, which is due out on Nov. 17. While we wait, see why the movie will actually be better than you think.
