Luca Guadagnino's film "Call Me By Your Name" instantly made waves when it debuted in January 2018. Based on André Aciman's 2007 novel of the same name, it unfolds over the course of a summer in Northern Italy. Charming graduate student Oliver (Armie Hammer) comes to live and study with professor of archaeology Samuel Perlman (Michael Stuhlbarg), soon finding unexpected romance with Samuel's precocious teenage son Elio (a breakout performance from Timothée Chalamet). They have an intense relationship as Elio experiences his first real love and heartbreak.

Guadagnino's film debuted to nearly universal acclaim, with the Rotten Tomatoes consensus praising it as a "melancholy, powerfully affecting portrait of first love, empathetically acted by Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer." It went on to receive four Academy Award nominations, including a best actor nod for Chalamet. If you're in the mood to revisit this iconic romance for yourself, here's where to stream it.
