This Is The Strongest Demon In Demon Slayer

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" has taken the anime world by storm. The popular shonen series is based on the beloved manga by the same name, and tells the story of a young man named Tanjiro Kamado. After returning home from work to find his entire family murdered by a demon except for his sister Nezuko, Tanjiro embarks on a journey to become a demon slayer and find a cure to turn Nezuko human again. Along the way, we bear witness to Tanjiro's impressive fighting abilities, as well as those of his newfound friends Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma.

While the demon slayers are powerful in their own right, they face plenty of amazingly strong demons, as well. The demon Kyogai uses supernatural drums to turn his home into a weapon; Susamaru is able to grow extra arms to throw her deadly temari balls; and all the members of the Spider Demon Family have a range of creepy abilities. Among the powerful demons, however, there's one that stands out as the strongest of all.

Muzan Kibutsuji is the most powerful demon in Demon Slayer

The strongest demon in "Demon Slayer" is without a doubt Muzan Kibutsuji, the main antagonist also known as the Demon King. Not only is he amazingly powerful, but he is the first demon in existence, as well as the only one who can create new demons — apart from Tamayo. Kibutsuji maintains control over the rest of the demons with a combination of a horrific blood curse and straight intimidation, which is more than enough to keep his crown and the respect of all his underlings.

Kibutsuji has a vast range of abilities, including super strength, possession, and shapeshifting. In fact, his Blood Demon Art is Biokinesis, also known as the ability to manipulate his body. He's able to turn his body parts into weapons, change his physical appearance, and even manipulate his individual cells to replicate his organs. Kibutsuji's blood is also extremely powerful — as seen when he injects a human with enough blood that she actually explodes from the effects.

We've only just begun to see Kibutsuji's amazing powers in action on "Demon Slayer," and there's sure to be more to come in Season 2.
