This Is The Star In The Louis Vuitton Twist Commercial

When you think of Louis Vuitton, you probably think of high-class luxury, expensive trips to the Bahamas, and throwing money away because you can. You probably don't think of graffiti art, arcades, or roller rinks. It doesn't seem like the kind of style Louis Vuitton is into. Well, it appears they are making a change and appealing to the younger audience, especially with the help of their new Twist commercial (via YouTube).

The commercial features a young woman going through the city with her new Louis Vuitton purse, featuring a new twistable lock that appears as an LV when locked. The woman, who appears in oversized baggy clothes with an edgy vibe, goes to the arcade and then the roller rink, where she shows off her new purse. Louis Vuitton launched these purses in 2015, but new models with vibrant color animations will be released this summer. It's a bold new way for the luxury accessory brand to appeal to the younger generation.

So who is the star in the Louis Vuitton Twist commercial?

Kaia Gerber uses her energetic spirit

When the younger generation sees someone their age with something expensive, it makes them want that item. So when they see Kaia Gerber with a new Louis Vuitton purse, they will likely break their piggy banks and hope they have enough for one. If you don't know who that is, then you might recognize her parents. That's because she is one of the children of model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber.

Now, their young daughter is hitting the big screen with this new commercial that fits her energy perfectly. From the bright lights that hint at the vibrancy that the new purses will feature to the chic demeanor that she portrays in every scene, the ad was made for her.

This isn't the first time Kaia has been on the big screen. Per IMDb, she's been featured in a handful of TV shows, such as "Sister Cities" and "Rich Kids of Instagram," as well as a few music videos, including "BURNOUT" by John Eatherly (via YouTube). This won't be the last we see of her either. The young actress won Model of the Year at the 2018 British Fashion Awards, according to the Telegraph, so you can bet you will see a lot more of her in the future, especially considering she's only 19 years old.
