She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power Season 3 Trailer, Photos Revealed

Best Friend Squad, assemble!

Adora, Glimmer, and Bow are embarking on another adventure on the upcoming third season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power — the first trailer for which Netflix and DreamWorksTV unveiled during this year's San Diego Comic-Con

Displayed above, the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 3 trailer sets up the story: Adora/She-Ra (Aimee Carrero), the Princess of Bright Moon Glimmer (Karen Fukuhara), and the impetuous Rebellion member Bow (Marcus Scribner) head out on a journey that takes them to the Crimson Waste as they try to bring an end to the raging war once and for all. Meanwhile, the evil Hordak (Keston John) and the Horde scientist/Princess of Dryl Entrapa (Christine Woods) are busy concocting a terrifying plan to destroy all in Eternia who oppose their beliefs. Catra (AJ Michalka) — the Force-Captain in Hordak's Evil Horde, which Adora previously was prior to her defecting — is continually edged out by Hordak and Entrapa, making it difficult for her to do her duties and to know that her former best friend Adora is out there trying to stop the people to whom she's loyal.

The Princess Alliance will band together to stop the Evil Horde's mission before it's too late — and they'll face off against brand-new baddies like Huntara (Geena Davis), an alien warrior Hordak tapped to capture Adora after Shadow Weaver (Lorraine Toussaint) went missing and Catra showed wavering faith in Hordak at the end of season 2. Through the crew's endeavor, Adora will explore her origins and learn the true strength of her abilities, while the Horde and the Alliance clash in bold battles. There are even hints that Adora and Catra might come to some sort of truce — which could make She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 3 the best installment of the animated series yet.

Alongside the trailer, Entertainment Weekly revealed a bundle of exclusive photos from the forthcoming season. They serve to prove the same thing the She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 3 trailer does: that the new episodes will be bigger and better than anything that came before them.

Created by Noelle Stevenson, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power returns to Netflix for season 3 on August 2.
