HBO Now: Everything Coming In April 2019
April 2019 is the month on HBO millions of fans have been waiting for. In the middle of April, the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones premieres. But that isn't the only thing viewers should get excited about — there are dozens of amazing films and television series hitting HBO Now this month, and we have the complete line-up here for your viewing pleasure.
Each week in April, HBO NOW will upload a brand-new release from 2018 to its content catalogue. On April 6, its the terrifying Taissa Farmiga-topped horror film The Nun. A week later, the lush romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians hits HBO Now. Then, it's Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman on April 20 and the young adult dystopia flick The Darkest Minds on April 27.
Old-school film fans won't be left hungry for content — HBO NOW is bringing films like Annie Hall, Manhattan, Bananas, and Ben to the platform this month. Comedy-lovers can dig into the classic '00s film Mean Girls, while comic book movie enthusiasts can get their fix with Jonah Hex. If you have a hankering for films that will flood your senses with feelings of nostalgia, just press play on The Little Rascals or A Walk in the Clouds this month on HBO Now.
On the TV side of things, tune into the premieres of Golden Life season 3 on April 1, Gentleman Jack season 1 on April 22, and Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas season 2 on April 5. Other HBO original programming headed to HBO Now in April are Native Son on April 6; the first looks at John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Tolkien on April 23 and April 25, respectively; and a special broadcast of this year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 27.
With new additions comes the need to bid a few movies and series goodbye at the end of the month. HBO Now subscribers, be sure to watch Wonder Woman, Father Figures, The Greatest Showman, The Mummy, Phantom Thread, Pitch Perfect 3, and The Thin Red Line, plus a few more picks, before they leave the platform.
