We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," Sony's latest animated blockbuster starring Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), is set to release in theaters on June 2. With such a highly anticipated film only a few days away from dominating social spaces, there's no better time to watch – or rewatch, let's be honest – the best Spider-Man movie ever made. The only question left is where to stream it.

Unfortunately, "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is unavailable as part of any current major streaming package; it's not on Netflix or Disney+, or even Max (previously HBO Max). It is, however, available for digital purchase or rent through iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and Vudu. It is also available with a Fubo TV subscription.

Rates vary from site to site, and digital purchasing options are consistently more expensive than digital renting options, but most of the aforementioned companies (even Google Play, whose rates are notably higher) are offering discounted prices ahead of the sequel's release.

This information can be found in its entirety via TV Guide, which also provides specific air dates and networks for those with cable. As of this writing, it appears as if "Into the Spider-Verse" is exclusively airing on FX.

A quick, Into the Spider-Verse refresher course

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" chronicles the origin story of Miles Morales, a young New Yorker who becomes the latest hero to wear the title of Spider-Man. The character was created in 2011 by Brian Michael Bendis, who was inspired by Donald Glover's Twitter campaign to portray the wall-crawler in what would ultimately become "The Amazing Spider-Man" starring Andrew Garfield. Despite pushback from communities who would not see Peter Parker replaced, Miles became an immediate staple in the Marvel canon, where his stories often support the message that Spider-Man is a title, not a singular person. That same empowering theme can be found in "Into the Spider-Verse," too.

Aside from Miles, the 2018 animated film features a host of Spider-People, including Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson), Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) – who's often referred to as Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), Peni Parker (Kimiko Glen), and Spider-Hamm (John Mulaney), all of whom are dragged to Miles' universe when Wilson Fisk (Liev Schrieber) triggers a machine to allow himself access to multiversal variants of his late wife and son.

Like its central hero, "Into the Spider-Verse" immediately endeared itself to critics, almost all of whom described the film as the pinnacle of superhero media. To this day, it remains the highest-rated picture in the entire genre.
