Who Plays Jack Dutton In Yellowstone Prequel 1923?
As the "Yellowstone" train keeps chugging along, so does the seemingly never-ending list of family members. Paramount's smash success with the Dutton dynasty and their fight to keep their ranch intact was easy enough to follow at first. Patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner) is a no-nonsense rancher who most recently won a bid for Governor to push through his agenda. Daughter Beth (Kelly Reilly) is the brains of the operation while adoptive brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) cannot stop messing up. But with the increasing number of prequels and insistence that most male characters need their name to start with "J," it can get a little confusing to keep the family lineage straight.
"1923" is the most recent iteration of the "Yellowstone" family with just as many "J" names, introducing Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford), a grown John Dutton Sr. (James Badge Dale) from "1883," and Jack Dutton, Jacob's grand nephew. "1923" has a stacked cast with Ford and Dame Helen Mirren leading the series. But who plays Jack, the youngest of the new cast of characters?

"1923" is not the first television series that Darren Mann has sunk his teeth into. Working in the entertainment industry since the early 2010s, the actor has seen his fair share of episodic television (via IMDb). He made the rounds on many genre CW series such as "Supernatural," "The 100," and "iZombie" in small parts. However, his most prolific role was in Netflix's charmingly spooky series "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina."
Taking advantage of the success of "Riverdale," Netflix latched onto Archie Comics resident half-witch Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka). Mann recurs in Seasons 1 and 2 as Luke Chalfant, a sometimes paramour of Sabrina's cousin Ambrose (Chance Perdomo). A fellow magic user and devotee to the Church of Night, Luke and Ambrose strike up a relationship during the series. However, Luke is closer to the nefarious Father Blackwood (Richard Coyle) than is comfortable, considering Sabrina's reluctance to write her name in the Devil's Book. Luke's tenure in the series comes to an abrupt end when he is ultimately killed by witch hunters. Mann may have been short-lived in "Sabrina," but it was just one stop on his journey through popular franchises. After a stint on TNT's "Animal Kingdom," Mann landed the role of Jack Dutton in the ratings-record-breaking "Yellowstone" universe.
