Sam received his first byline at the age of 15 and has been working as a film critic and entertainment journalist ever since. In addition to writing for Looper, Sam has written articles and videos for large outlets such as StudioBinder and Asian Movie Pulse. Sam also creates video content for his own YouTube channel, Brickwall Pictures. As an independent filmmaker, Sam has written, directed, edited, and produced several award-winning short films.

Sam received a Bachelor of Film Science degree from Full Sail University.
