Star Wars: The Last Jedi International Trailer Features New Footage
If you thought the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi had a disturbing lack of C-3PO, you're in luck.
There's a new international trailer for the upcoming sequel to The Force Awakens, and although we've already seen most of what's included in the first teaser and trailer, it does offer a look at C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), confirming that he won't be far from General Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher).
The new trailer also has one big change from the domestic one: it doesn't open with Snoke's dialogue about finding someone with "raw, untamed" power. Instead, it begins with voiceover from Rey (Daisy Ridley) as she trains on Ahch-To. We also have a new poster, which you can check out below.
As of now, The Last Jedi is projected to make about $215 million during its opening weekend, which would give it the second-biggest opening ever, behind only The Force Awakens ($247 million). It's expected to total around $742 million during its theatrical run, a figure that would make it the third-biggest movie of all time, behind The Force Awakens ($936 million) and Avatar ($760 million).
The Last Jedi lands in theaters Dec. 15.
