Hulk Gets Ready For Battle In New Thor: Ragnarok Clip
Hulk is ready to smash in the newest clip from Thor: Ragnarok. The clip, which you can view at the bottom of this article, features the green giant getting ready to fight against Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in a gladiatorial contest in the arena of the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).
"We know each other, he's a friend from work!" Thor says enthusiastically to the Grandmaster upon seeing his opponent. "Where have you been? Everybody thought you were dead," he then says to Hulk. "So much has happened since I last saw you. I lost my hammer like, yesterday, so that's pretty fresh. Loki, Loki's alive, can you believe it? He's up there. Loki, look who it is!" Loki (Tom Hiddleston), sitting up next to the Grandmaster, looks none to pleased about his brother's excited new tone.
Thor has a long journey before he ends up fighting against his former teammate. The movie will feature the titular hero contending with Loki's lax rule on Asgard during his time masquerading as their missing father Odin (Anthony Hopkins). This leads to the freeing of Cate Blanchett's Hela, who unleashes hell on the planet, destroys Thor's hammer, and banishes him to the desolate planet of Sakaar.
There, he is captured by Valkyrie, who brings him to the Grandmaster, a nefarious ruler who cuts off his hair and forces him to fight against the Hulk. Although Marvel is saving the battle for the big screen, we do know that, eventually, the pair will escape and head off on an intergalactic adventure to take down Hela. (They'll also get some help from Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange, in one of the film's few stops on Earth.)
Thor: Ragnarok is directed by Taika Waititi based on a script by Eric Pearson, Craig Kyle, and Chris Yost. The movie, which also stars Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, and Rachel House, hits theaters on Nov. 3.
