What Time Will Peaky Blinders Season 6 Be On Netflix?

Fans of the British crime drama "Peaky Blinders" had to deal with a number of adjustments to the show's formula in its 6th season. While the series nominally deals with the family dynamics and travails of the Shelby family, which heads the Peaky Blinders gang in the early 1900s, Season 6 branches off one of the show's main cast members. It sends Thomas "Tommy" Shelby (Cillian Murphy) off to America as the bootlegging gang looks for new ways to make money in the wake of the end of Prohibition. But Tommy gets into deep trouble with politicians and Boston street gangs alike, and soon finds that his machinations might cause new misery to rain down on his head. Season 6 also marks the exit of matriarch Elizabeth "Polly" Gray, whose portrayer, Helen McCrory, passed away on April 16, 2021, of breast cancer (per Deadline) and was unable to film any scenes for Season 6.

Fans are going to have to wait a while to see more of the Shelby family at work; the show's producers are planning on a big-screen continuation of the drama followed by some spin-off series instead of producing a 7th season. While they wait, American fans of the show might be curious about when Season 6 of the program will arrive on Netflix for their own perusal. Fortunately, we have a pretty good idea of when the show should hit the service.

The show should arrive on Netflix in early June

Per Netflix India on Twitter, the season will hit the service on June 10. That's a pretty strong hint that markets outside of the U.K., including the U.S., should be able to get their hands on the show's final season on or around the same date. As separately noted by What's On Netflix, this matches the show's general release pattern of ending up on Netflix one to two months after running on the BBC. For example, Season 5 of the show hit the service on October 4, 2019, after airing its season finale on September 19, 2019. Season 6 of "Peaky Blinders" concluded on April 3, 2022, per NME.

As always on Netflix, shows tend to drop on the service at 12 a.m. PST on the evening of a show's release. That means if you're on the East Coast, you'll have to wait until three in the morning to watch Season 6 of "Peaky Blinders." And for fans of the show, the wait will be more than worth their while.
