Jon Hamm To Voice Boba Fett In Star Wars Audiobook

Boba Fett will sound a little more dashing than we may be used to.

Mad Men star Jon Hamm will provide the voice for the iconic Star Wars character in the upcoming audiobook, From a Certain Point of View, according to the official Star Wars website. Other actors participating include Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Davis, Ashley Eckstein, Janina Gavankar, January LaVoy, Saskia Maarleveld, Carol Monda, Daniel José Older, and Marc Thompson.

The Del Rey nobel will bring together more than 40 authors for 40 stories to tell the stories of some of the lesser-known characters from A New Hope. The book will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars movie.

"Since we have over 40 authors in this collection retelling different moments from Star Wars literary history, we wanted to use the audiobook as an opportunity to work with an all-star cast of narrators," book producer Nick Martorelli told the site. "We matched our veteran Star Wars narrators with stories that suited their talents, and from there we dreamed big and reached out to people who might have been interested in celebrating this landmark 40th anniversary project."

From a Certain Point of View arrives Oct. 3 on hardcover, eBook, and unabridged audiobook. Meanwhile, take a look at some actors who were almost cast in the Star Wars movies.
