72% Of Naruto Fans Agree This Is The Strongest Character

Masashi Kishimoto's "Naruto" is a manga and anime series that shines in many categories. The series' evolution of its plot is noteworthy. It goes from a spirited tale of the titular hero wishing to be accepted as the leader of his village to a story dealing with deep bonds and the scars of betrayal. The series is also revered for its plethora of memorable characters, which increases into bewildering numbers by the time "Naruto" reaches its conclusion. This isn't even counting the next generation of shinobi featured in the following "Boruto" series, and when it comes to action, "Naruto" has some of the best battles within its "Shonen Jump" generation.

The fights in "Naruto" dramatically change when we get to the end of "Naruto: Shippuden." Gone are the intimate martial arts action sequences that seem like neat callbacks to the wire-fu of films such as "The Matrix" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Instead, we get hyper-kinetic battles that Goku would love. But the scale in action only changes because the scale of power in characters shifts.

"Naruto" is full of some of the strongest characters in anime, many of whom could probably take any other anime character in a duel. We're talking about warriors who can summon giant demon beasts and use chakra to combine the elements of nature. Choosing the strongest character in the series can be a burdensome affair. Fortunately, fans on Reddit didn't have this issue during a special poll. Who do "Naruto" fans agree is the strongest among a select few? The answer might prove shocking.

Fans consider Killer Bee to be the strongest by a landslide

Fans may fondly remember the Hidden Cloud Village's Killer Bee for being the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails Beast and his aspiring rap dreams. Introduced in the "Naruto: Shippuden" series with his fierce battle against Sasuke and his comrades, Killer Bee quickly establishes that he's got more than just a notebook full of rhyme bars. In a Reddit poll, fans took notice, as out of 2,500 votes, Killer Bee won the title as the strongest with a convincing 72%.

However, there is a bit of fine print detail to this poll to keep in mind. Notable series heavyweights like Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara are absent from the survey. Instead, Killer Bee's competition is only pre-time-skip Kakashi, early-"Shippuden" Sakura, and mid-"Shippuden" Gaara. So with only these three in the poll to fight Killer Bee for the top spot, it makes sense why he emerged as the winner. "This isn't a fight. It's a massacre," u/Bruhbrother999 said. "And Killer Bee's the one massacring. He can beat them all at the same time."

When fans look back at some of the feats of Killer Bee, it's clear why he deserves to be considered one of the strongest characters in the series. Unlike most other Jinchūriki, Killer Bee is able to befriend his tailed beast. In manga chapter #543 (via Viz Media), he impressively holds his own against the legendary Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. Some fans in the poll like u/chip0425 also noted that Killer Bee's most remarkable feat of strength is when he's introduced in his fight against Sasuke. Killer Bee nearly kills Sasuke a few times in their battle, and as u/TheFlatPepsi recalled, "Are people forgetting that Killer Bee stopped fighting Sasuke mid-fight to write a rap verse?"
